12 big European teams have already signed up for the controversial super league led by AC Milan and Liverpool.
Teams joining European super league may have adverse effects to its players.
Super League owners are looking to secure with broadcasters like Amazon, Facebook, Disney and Comcast. It would raise the annual revenues to 4 billion – twice more than the UCL.
UEFA’s Alexander Ceferin confirms, “The players that will play in the Super League will be banned from playing in the World Cup and Euros. Ceferin. They will not be allowed play for their national teams”.
Porto president Pinto da Costa confirms the Portuguese champions have rejected an invitation to the Super League.
“We are not concerned with being or not, we are in the Champions League and we hope to continue to be for many years.”
Thomas Tuchel on the Super League, “I was not involved and my players were not involved in the decision-making process.”
“I trust my club to make the right decisions, I think it is too early to judge, ” he said.
