The agreement was made with Talksport, which is the worldwide audio partner of the English Premier League. During the sports seasons of 2022–2022, 2023–2024, and 2024–2025, Nigerians will have an unbeatable experience watching sports on TV.
To meet the many interests of Nigerians in sports, the matches will also be broadcast countrywide in English, Pidgin English, and Hausa on Nigeria Info, Wazobia FM, Arewa Radio, and Cool FM (Kano).

Serge Noujaim, the Chief Executive Officer of Cool FM, Wazobia FM, Nigeria Info, and Arewa Radio, commented on the latest development and highlighted that the agreement with Talksports would expand the English Premier League’s broadcast coverage throughout the nation.

“As a collective of top radio companies, we are completely aware of the real enthusiasm for football that Nigerians exhibit. This is why we decided to form a long-term partnership with Talksport to spread the word about the national competition and bring Nigerians closer to the football experiences of the English Premier League through a unique style of broadcasting.
“This further serves to underline our resolve as a radio organization to continue using the power of sports, especially football, to serve as a dividing line among the thronging Nigerian population,” Noujaim said.
