Tanzania DStv Poa blends the most enjoyable entertainment from Tanzania with high-quality local shows for all customers.
Tanzania’s best homegrown on-screen entertainment is included in the package. According to Multi-Choice, its programming includes the most recent Tanzanian social drama, the most hilarious Tanzanian comedy, non-stop movies and series, as well as programming for children and other demographics.
Jacqueline Woiso, the Multichoice Tanzania Managing Director, revealed at the package launch in Dar es Salaam that the product offers a wide range of programs.

Jacqueline said, “This product’s launch is done under our priority, which is focusing on giving our customers the best products at a cheap price.”
“We know that our consumers and the rest of the population are going through struggles economically and, for that matter, we have evaluated the best way which will ensure that Tanzanians enjoy entertainment and other programs at low prices.”
Jacqueline unveiled the ‘DStv Poa’ saying it consists of over 40 good channels for news, films, sports, and lots of entertainment as per the customers’ needs.
Also introduced was a new channel called Maisha Magic Poa, which will broadcast programs such as “Ni Yeye,” which will be hosted by well-known local musicians such as Rashid Makwiro “Chid Benz” and Khalid Mohamed “TID.”

Others include ‘Vichekesho vya Watu Baki’, a popular comedy show ‘Origino Comedy’, and Swahili series, ‘Kapuni’, ‘Sarafu’, ‘Mwantumu’ and films ‘Mambo Moto‘.
Ronald Shelukindo, the Head of Marketing for MultiChoice Tanzania, disclosed that because the package contains a significant number of channels and pieces of content, DStv subscribers can look forward to experiencing increased levels of entertainment.
Shelukindo stated, “This is truly a good package given it has over 40 channels, all of them will be accessed at Tsh 9,900/- per month.”
