According to a Danish official statement, Christian Eriksen is awake and has been transferred to a hospital to undergo further examinations.
The Denmark FA says the doctors embarked on a rescue mission to salvage the life of the star.
“Christian Eriksen suffered an emergency condition is now conscious and in a stable condition. Hats off to the medical staff who acted swiftly to save his life, ” an official also said.
The incident in the Euro 2020 match between Denmark and Finland was suspended shortly before half-time on Saturday after the Inter midfielder collapsed.
