Startimes gets MUTV broadcasting rights to air EPL Manchester United exclusive matches and other live shows.

Manchester United (MUTV) agrees to air its content including Manchester United live matches with digital television firm StarTimes through MUTV for 5 years to the African market. 

StarTimes digital television gets exclusively broadcasting rights from Manchester United to over 30 countries in Africa including Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Nigeria.

MUTV is a leading Sports club Television station globally that broadcasts first-team games, Youth league and women’s league.

Startimes gets MUTV broadcasting rights to other content like player interviews, managers’ press conferences and club documentaries among other contents.

“We are proud to have hundreds of millions of devoted fans in Africa and this long-term deal.

“This deal will allow them to get nearer to the club through MUTV’s exclusive, round-the-clock content from Old Trafford and the AON Training Complex,” said Phil Lynch, Chief Executive of Media at Manchester United.

” Enjoy first-team coverage, live women’s team and Academy matches, behind the scenes, exclusive club documentaries and much more, ” the club said in a statement.
