Manchester United (MUTV) agrees to air its content including Manchester United live matches with digital television firm StarTimes through MUTV for 5 years to the African market.
StarTimes digital television gets exclusive broadcasting rights from Manchester United to over 30 countries in Africa including Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Nigeria.
MUTV is a leading Sports club Television station globally that broadcasts first-team games, Youth leagues and women’s leagues.
Startimes gets MUTV broadcasting rights to other content like player interviews, managers’ press conferences and club documentaries among other content.

“This deal will allow them to get nearer to the club through MUTV’s exclusive, round-the-clock content from Old Trafford and the AON Training Complex,” said Phil Lynch, Chief Executive of Media at Manchester United.
